MKM Network was built by someone who has lived the realities of the security industry—not theorized
about them.
I’m Matthew K. Mahoney, founder of MKM Network. My career spans federal law enforcement, complex
investigations, executive protection, and private-sector security operations. I’ve worked in high-risk
environments where decisions have real consequences, margins are tight, and failure isn’t an option. That
background gives me a clear, practical understanding of the challenges security firms face today:
inconsistent lead flow, inefficient operations, staffing constraints, poor visibility into performance, and
increasing competition from firms that are faster, leaner, and more tech-enabled.
